With Me Without Me = With You Without You

Have watched Knight and Day..The movie (for the ones who didn’t know it) (are there even such people?), like endless times and still do every time it come on the Idiot Box. Why? I simply love it, Cameron Diaz is so cute, the locales are fabulous, the stunts, TOM CRUISE..Phew endless list. And the best thing I love about the movie is the life mantra it taught me..Altered a little for my convenience...WITH ME WITHOUT ME has become WITH YOU WITHOUT YOU.

I’ve always been an extroverted, outspoken, travel freak who loves to watch movies, shop (every woman’s dream), hangout; try out new things in daily life. The monotony sometimes kills me. So I need to break free often to charge myself or else I become a cribbity hag who like a #itch will make life miserable for anyone in my radius. That’s when this Mantra saves my life... WITH YOU WITHOUT YOU.

·         Shopping: - So now I love to shop, Hubby as usual sulks at the name of it, and me instead of creating drama and dragging him for the same..Do as the mantra...I don’t bother hubby at all and instead give him his me time...Wherein I ask him to babysit the kids and let the3 bond and I get complete freedom to buy stuff I genuinely like (had to take his opinion if he was around). So, I get to shop without the kids towing me and hubby gets me time with his kids. Win Win Situation.

·         Movies: - Well I am a movie buff, who can watch anything in the name of cinema, whereas hubby loves watching anything that has Amitabh Bachchan in it. So, I take off with the kids to watch a kiddy movie which makes them happy as well as me and spend the entire day with them, chilling doing fun stuff, which the otherwise daily routine doesn’t allow me too. Hubby is super happy with the arrangement. But then comes our yearly Eid festivity, where he is dragged to the theatre to watch our favorite SALMAN KHAN movie...Even my kids have started loving him, seeing my obsession.

Etc Etc, Well, the point I’m trying to make is you can’t please everybody and the same applies to others as well. The likes of one person may be the others dislike. So instead of forcing someone to do as you please or trying to change them, which never happens, you can end your misery by applying the WITH YOU WITHOUT YOU Mantra. You can do all the things you both love together and the things individually loved by each of you alone without any guilt or force. Makes Everyone Happy. Tried and Tested J
