Looking at her reflection in the mirror, Kiran smiled. She reminiscined about her childhood when she would stare at her mother’s beautiful face. The raven black long hair, red lipstick and her assuring smile, made her going to work at nights easier for Kiran. Her mother was a bar dancer who was trying to raise her child with dignity and respect. Kiran caught her mother staring at her in the mirror. She looked at Kiran with pride and love. Kiran had to leave for work, and couldn’t be late. The CEO of the company had to set the right examples.

Exam Time Story!

My elder one’s exams started from Monday. Basically I’m a chilled out Mom, or I’d like to think so ;-), but exams used to bring out the scariest version of me, as per my kids. Well, I don’t disagree to that. Even my lil one was scared of me and tells me “I’ll do my coloring very well mom”, she’s only 4. With poor hubby its altogether a different story, even he sensed the tension and kinda stayed out of my way. Well, long story cut short, how do you deal with exam pressure? Here are some of the tips and mantras i started following and it has made exam time an easy ride for me, Hope it helps u too. The most important Mantra “Each child is UNIQUE”. Accept it and focus on your child’s ability and strength. Know your child’s concentration span, Study with breaks. Time Management plan is a must.
