Loneliness!

The sky outside is blue and bright,
Yet somewhere in my heart, there is fright.
Of what the day holds for me
Wondering, if its happiness or sadness, in store for me.
A deep vacuum fills my heart
Despair and pain tears me apart.
Amongst the sea of faces I know,
I’m waiting for that smiling face, whose heart with love for me glows.

The entire day I’ve been coming across children’s day post, where pictures from our childhood were posted of themselves or of their children when they were toddlers. There was no single picture of us as adults indulging in our favorite things or memories from our childhood.
